With the rapid development of electronic information technology, intelligent electronic devices are constantly flooding our life and production. Textiles and clothing with sensing and actuating effects also support and enrich the future smart clothing and wearable market due to their sensing, monitoring, actuating and self-regulation performance under the stimulation of environmental stimuli, including pressure, temperature, humidity, thermal and so on. Researchers have made initial achievements in the research of smart textiles, but the future large-scale production and popularization still need our joint efforts. Our goal is to seek novel research, build a bridge between sensors, actuators, and smart wearable devices, and make the future textile and apparel industry more intelligent.
